Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the app collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. The app is built for a single event — the Diamond Jubilee on August 10, 2026 in Cagayan de Oro — and we collect only what that event experience needs. The app requires no account, no email address, and no sign-up.

Information we collect

Anonymous device identifier
When you first open the app, it is assigned a random, anonymous identifier. This lets the app remember your session and deliver your chat replies. It is not linked to your name, phone number, or any account.
Display name (optional)
You may choose to enter a display name so organizers know who they are chatting with. This is entirely optional and can be anything you like.
Push notification token
If you allow notifications, the app stores an Expo push token for your device so we can send you event announcements and chat replies. Declining notifications does not block any other feature.
Chat messages
Messages you send to the organizing team through the in-app chat are stored so organizers can read and reply to them.
Aggregated usage and diagnostics
We collect aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics and crash diagnostics through Firebase Analytics (for example, which screens are used most and whether the app is crashing) to keep the app working well during the event.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, or any government identifiers, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.

Service providers

The app runs on infrastructure operated by third-party processors who handle data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:

How long we keep your data
